LOOKING to capture important moments in your life in glorious high definition? Look no further as Sony has recently launched its HD Handycam video recorder, the HDR-TG1.
The pocket-sized camcorder is encased in a durable titanium chassis which makes it very sturdy for everyday use.
Light and compact, the TG1 is capable of recording in HD at 1080i (1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution) and capture still images at 4-megapixel resolution.
The camcorder also incorporates face detection technology for both video and photos that can identify up to eight faces in the camcorder’s LCD frame and automatically adjust exposure, focus and colour control.
Additionally, the camcorder’s D-Range optimiser ensures more evenly-exposed pictures especially when recording in high contrast and strong backlit areas.
The built-in zoom microphone can also record in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound for clearer audio. The Sony HDR-TG1 is priced at RM3,999.
