SMEs get free website offer

KUALA LUMPUR: Diip Dot Net (MSC) Sdn Bhd is offering free websites to all small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country.

"As a service, we are offering a free website each to 1,000 SMEs here for one year," said chief executive officer Alex Lee.

It said the sites would be ideal for SMEs to go global because they can help increase customer awareness, enhance company image, and reduce advertising costs.

These SMEs will get a free website for the first year and there is no obligation to renew it the second year, according to the company.

The company said its Diip.net Do-It-Yourself e-commerce web platform provides a simple format for SMEs to make announcements, issue product releases, and disseminate other information.
