PETALING JAYA: Ready to take your game on the road? MSI is hoping to take gaming to a new level with its latest G series gaming notebook, the GT740.
Weighing 3.2kg, the GT740 features an ultra-thin aluminium alloy frame with brushed metal accents. For easy access to your favourite functions and applications, the GT740 features touch-sensitive hotkeys.
Other notable aesthetics include highlighted W,A,S, D keys that allow gamers to easily locate the keys for gaming.
The huge notebook has a 17in LCD display and five built in speakers for delivering superb audio and video experience. It also has an impressive hardware spec consisting of an Intel Core i7-720 (1.6GHz) quad-core processor, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD and a Blu-ray combo drive.
For playing the latest games, the notebook comes with a powerful nVidia GeForce GTS 250M (1GB VRAM DDR3) graphics chip.
Also, the GT740 has a comprehensive interface that includes a built-in e-SATA port for connecting external storage devices with transfer speeds of up to 3GBps.
It also has a built-in HDMI port for hooking it up to a larger display such as a HDTV. Other features include a 2-megapixel webcam.
The MSI GT740 retails for RM6,600.
