Big screen for small rooms

CP-A52

PETALING JAYA: Hitachi’s latest three-LCD short-throw projectors, CP-D10 and CP-A52, are able to project an 80in image from less than 1m distance which effectively eliminates the presenter’s shadow from being projected on the screen.

CP-D10

Ideal for use in classrooms and small meeting rooms where space is limited, the A52 is able to project an image from 63cm and D10 from 92.7cm away.

In term of contrast ratio, the CP-A52 and CP- D10 offer 1,000:1 and 500:1 respectively. Both projectors are also able to display an image with a resolution of up to 1,024 x 768-pixels.

The projectors have a maximum of 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness as well as a Perfect Fit option to allow users to easily adjust each corner of the image to fit any screen.

With the built-in template function, up to four types of line can be projected on a whiteboard or blackboard so users can use it as a guide for writing and drawing.

For added convenience, the CP- A52 and CP- D10 also offer a hybrid filter that only requires maintenance every 2,000 and 4,000 hours respectively.

As the lamp door is located on top, replacing the lamp once it’s burned becomes a simple task even when the projector is mounted on a ceiling.

The lamp can be used for up to 4,000 hours, depending on the environment and usage.

To save energy and further extend the lamp life, the projectors are equipped with an Audio Pass Through function, which shuts down the video but allows audio output when all the presenter needs is sound.

And to address security issues, these models also ship with a security bar, PIN lock and a Kensington slot.

The CP-A52 and CP- D10 retail for RM6,000 and RM5,000 respectively. — ZAM KARIM
