Reality TV show for SMEs
PETALING JAYA: MakeITwork, a reality TV programme aimed at enhancing the competitive edge of local SMEs (small and medium enterprises) through the use of technology has started its run on ntv7.
The 10-episode series features recent information and communications technology (ICT) makeover projects involving local SMEs.
The series is a collaborative effort by Microsoft Malaysia, Hewlett-Packard Malaysia and DiGi Telecommunications. It is supported by the International Trade and Industry Ministry and SME Corporation Malaysia.
Ramesh Rajandran, Microsoft Malaysia’s product marketing manager of infrastructure services, said that although the majority of SMEs today do not have large IT departments, they should consider customised easy-to-use financial management, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions.
“The objective of the MakeITwork initiative is to carry this message across to the SME community in a most conducive and user-friendly manner,” he said. MakeITwork is produced by UberFusion. The series airs every Wednesday at 7:30 pm on ntv7.
