Realmild opts for SAS Malaysia software
KUALA LUMPUR: Investment holding company Realmild (M) Sdn Bhd has partnered with business intelligence solutions provider SAS Malaysia to help enhance the group’s planning and budgeting functions, as well as improve productivity.
The purchase of SAS software is part of Realmild’s endeavour to improve overall processes in its core businesses — integrated healthcare facilities management, heavy engineering and vessel construction, maintenance and supply of defence technologies, logistics and capital management.
“Over the years, Realmild has consolidated global partnerships with major industry players in the United States, Europe, Australia and the Far East,” said Syed Elias Abdul Rahman Alhabshi, Realmild’s group executive director.
“The need to invest in strong software technology such as SAS is important for the group to ensure good consolidation in the areas of planning and budgeting.”
The Realmild Group recorded a profit-before-tax growth of almost 44% last year. This is an increase of about 23% from the previous year.
