HDS spotlights datacentre management tool
KUALA LUMPUR: Storage solutions provider Hitachi Data Systems Corporation launched the Hitachi IT Operations Analyser Software that is designed to help businesses streamline their information technology operations.
The product simplifies datacentre management by providing integrated monitoring of datacentre servers and Internet Protocol networks along with fibre-channel storage-area networks, local are networks, and storage systems.
HDS claims the product provides a complete and holistic view of a datacentre, and can monitor across heterogeneous servers, networks and storage assets.
Johnson Khoo, managing director of Hitachi Data Systems Sdn Bhd said the analyser software is part of HDS’ programme to help its customers do more with less.
“Storage economics has never been more critical to enterprises (than now in these difficult economic times) and our software offerings can play an integral role in saving organisations money while improving operational efficiency,” he said.
